60 capsules. 1 capsule contains: active ingredients: L-carnitine - 500 mg, zinc citrate - 4 mg, selenium - 12.5 mcg; capsule shell: gelatin; coloring agents: iron oxide red, titanium dioxide.

L-carnitine is a vitamin-like substance that engaged in metabolism of fatty acids in the Krebs cycle, supporting the body with energy. L-carnitine is a lipotropic compound which participates in the transport of unsaturated fats into the mitochondria, where occurs fat oxidation, and release of energy, thereby reduces subdermal fat and, as a consequence, weight of the body. L-carnitine helps liver cells to get rid of accumulated fat by increasing process of utilization fatty acids and providing lipotropic and membrane-protective effect on hepatocytes. L-carnitine promotes secretion metabolites and toxic substances from the cytoplasm, improves metabolic processes; stimulates maturation of male sex cells, helps to improve their concentration and to increase mobility, prevent the emergence of pathological forms of sperm; protects sperm from oxidative damage by removing excess cellular acetyl-COA by offering primary antioxidant protection. L-carnitine reduces cholesterol level and improves myocardial metabolism. A deficiency of L-carnitine can lead to various disorders of the cardiovascular system, reduce the rate of lipolysis, but during prolonged deficiency can negatively affect on the immune system.

Zinc is essential for functioning of the gonad hormones, pituitary gland, adrenal glands, pancreatic gland, has a lipotropic effect, stimulates hemoglobin synthesis and erythropoiesis, improves immunity, promotes healing of wounds. Zinc is especially important in the formation of male sex hormones and for supporting functionality and health of the prostate gland; involved in the synthesis of testosterone and follicle-stimulating hormone, which are responsible for spermatogenesis.

Selenium attends in the biosynthesis of main male hormone testosterone, improves sperm quality, used for male infertility, improves the present state of menopause in women. Improves the function of sexual glands, heart, thyroid, immune system.

Indications for use.
Karliv is recommended as an additional source of L-carnitine, zinc and selenium with objective normalizing lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, functional state of the genitourinary system in men with:

• deficiency of L-carnitine;
• an inflammatory diseases of the prostate;
• male infertility;
• diseases of the liver, endocrine and cardiovascular systems;
• an obesity;
• conditions which are accompanied by loss of appetite, or physical exhaustion.

Contraindication.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding, individual sensitivity to the components.

Posology and method of adminitration.
Adults take 1-2 capsules 2 times a day regardless of meals, enough drinking water. The length of treatment is from 1 to 3 months and is determined by a doctor individually.

Storage conditions.
Store in original container in a dry, protected from light and inaccessible to children place at room temperature.

Shelf life - 24 months from date of production.
